Introduction

China Southern Airlines is the largest airline in China and has hubs in Guangzhou and Beijing. The carrier operates an extensive domestic network within China, as well as international services to the Middle East, Asia, Africa, Europe, North America and Australia.

With such a large airline a better app was needed. To provide their travelrs with a better service and reinforce their loyalty. The goal is to provide all the app's functionalities with a brand new and improved user interface, to enhance the customer experience.

Concept

Since their was not a defined brand guide. We started to research exsiting brand and visual elements. Such as brand colours and typography

After a iterative process. We ended up presenting the concept. based on the principles; Multidimensional (sound and motion), contextual design and native interaction patterns.

Result

An app with both improved and new functions and a user-friendly interface.

Travelers can now easily reserve seats, search and book their flight in stages, with a focus on relevant elements.
